In his third appearance on television in as many weeks, Jonathan Rooker, an associate with the Law Offices of Nuttall & Coleman, discusses domestic violence and the tragedy that occurred earlier this week in downtown Fresno.
If you’re not familiar with the story, a Fresno man entered a downtown Fresno medical practice, killed his girlfriend with a shotgun, and then turned the shotgun on himself. The two had were in the midst of a custody battle for their five children, and had a history of domestic violence.
In his interview with Chuck Leonard on Fresno’s Central Valley Buzz, Rooker, a criminal defense attorney, discusses domestic violence and how sometimes there is an overreaction to and magnification of common interactions between a couple that wrongly elevate those interactions to domestic violence.
